Welcome to ARCReaderHub ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"), an independent Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform operated by the creator and operator of ARCReaderHub.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.

ARCReaderHub provides software management tools that enable authors and independent publishers to organize Advance Review Copy ("ARC") campaigns, evaluate reviewer applications, securely distribute digital manuscripts, monitor reading progress, and collect reviewer feedback.

We provide software and hosting management tools only. ARCReaderHub is not a book publisher, literary agency, bookseller, or commercial digital bookstore. We do not sell commercial copies of books, and we do not verify, endorse, or edit user-uploaded content.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or use the Platform.
• Account Types: Users may register as readers, authors, or both, utilizing Email/Password or Google Sign-In authentication.
• Account Responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep your profile credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
• Security Notice: You must notify us immediately at support@arcreaderhub.com of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach regarding your account.

• Free and Paid Tiers: ARCReaderHub offers free reviewer access and tiered author plans (including free introductory campaign allowances and the paid Author Pro subscription). Plan quotas, features, and current pricing are published on our Pricing page.
• Merchant of Record: All paid subscriptions, transactions, and invoicing on ARCReaderHub are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC ("Lemon Squeezy"), who acts as our Merchant of Record. When purchasing a subscription, you enter into a purchase agreement governed by Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Sale and acknowledge that Lemon Squeezy handles tax calculation, EU VAT, and payment processing on our behalf.
• Recurring Billing & Renewals: Author Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Account Settings. Upon cancellation, your Author Pro access remains active until the conclusion of your current prepaid billing cycle, after which your account transitions to the Free tier without loss of existing review data, campaign history, or book metadata.
• 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Initial Author Pro upgrades are backed by our 14-day money-back guarantee pursuant to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. To request a full refund, contact support@arcreaderhub.com within fourteen (14) calendar days of your initial upgrade transaction date.

Authors retain 100% exclusive intellectual property rights, copyright, and ownership in all uploaded manuscripts, cover artwork, and campaign materials. ARCReaderHub claims no ownership rights over your content.

By uploading a manuscript (EPUB or PDF) or promotional asset, you grant ARCReaderHub a worldwide, limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely to host, store, process, watermark, format, and deliver your content to authorized reviewers on your behalf.

By uploading any manuscript or asset, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the author, publisher, or authorized copyright holder with full legal right to distribute Advance Review Copies.
• Your manuscript and cover graphics do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Your manuscript does not contain malware, malicious code, defamatory material, or illegal content.

If you utilize our external review distribution feature to send copies to third-party email addresses, you warrant that you have obtained appropriate consent or possess a lawful legal basis to provide those email addresses. You agree not to send unsolicited commercial emails (spam) or abuse platform distribution quotas.

Reviewers granted access to an ARC agree to:

• Use the digital manuscript solely for personal reading and evaluation purposes.
• Provide honest, independent reviews based on their own opinions.
• Respect any publication embargo dates or confidentiality expectations communicated by the author.

Reviewers must not sell, rent, lease, or commercially distribute ARC copies; re-upload, distribute, or share manuscripts on public file-sharing networks, torrent sites, or unauthorized channels; remove, crop, alter, or circumvent copyright notices, security features, or digital watermarks; or share private download links, access credentials, or Kindle delivery files with third parties.

To protect author copyright and deter unauthorized redistribution:

• Personalized Watermarks: All digital manuscripts downloaded, viewed in-browser, or dispatched via Send-to-Kindle are dynamically stamped with visible and/or embedded forensic watermarks containing the reviewer's display name, registered email address, account identifier, and distribution timestamp.
• Prohibited Tampering: You strictly agree not to alter, remove, crop, obscure, or attempt to strip any digital watermark applied by ARCReaderHub.
• Leak Attribution: If an advance manuscript bearing your personalized watermark is found distributed on piracy websites, file-sharing networks, or unauthorized channels, ARCReaderHub reserves the right to immediately terminate your account, ban your access, and disclose relevant delivery audit records to the affected copyright holder for legal enforcement.

• Service Provision: ARCReaderHub provides a Send-to-Kindle tool allowing authorized reviewers to deliver EPUB or PDF files to their Amazon Kindle or personal e-reader device via email dispatch.
• User Configuration: You are responsible for ensuring your Amazon Approved Personal Document E-mail List is configured to receive deliveries from kindle@arcreaderhub.com.
• Fair-Use Limits: Send-to-Kindle delivery is subject to a fair-use limit of up to 3 sends per reader per book per calendar day and a maximum file size limit of 45 MB.
• Third-Party Disclaimers: ARCReaderHub is not affiliated with Amazon.com, Inc. We do not guarantee Amazon Whispernet delivery times, device formatting conversions, or third-party email server uptime.

• Cloud Storage: Digital manuscripts (EPUB and PDF) and cover images are stored in secure cloud object storage (Cloudflare R2).
• Active Campaign Storage: Files remain accessible during the active period of an ARC campaign.
• 90-Day Archival Grace Period: Once an ARC campaign concludes, ARCReaderHub provides a 90-day grace period. After 90 days following campaign completion, the underlying manuscript file (EPUB/PDF) is permanently deleted from storage to optimize server capacity. Automated notifications are sent to the author prior to deletion.
• Preservation of Records: Deletion of a manuscript file does not delete book metadata, ratings, reviewer applications, reader notes, or submitted reviews, which remain preserved in the author's dashboard. Authors may re-upload a manuscript at any time if relaunching a campaign.

Reviews and ratings represent the opinions of individual reviewers. ARCReaderHub does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the fairness or accuracy of reviews.

We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain spam, harassment, hate speech, illegal content, personally identifiable information of third parties, or fraudulent activity.

Authors may establish custom application questionnaires to evaluate prospective reviewers. Information submitted by reviewers in application forms is shared directly with the respective author.

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded to ARCReaderHub without authorization, please email a notice of infringement to support@arcreaderhub.com containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the specific book or material on ARCReaderHub (including URL or book title).
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
• A statement affirming that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement confirming that the information provided is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We promptly investigate valid complaints, disable infringing material, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, infringe intellectual property rights, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the platform, or threaten system security.

You may delete your account at any time through your Profile Settings. To protect author campaign integrity, deleting your account initiates technical anonymization: personal identifiers, credentials, and avatar files are permanently expunged, while submitted book reviews and aggregate ratings remain preserved under an anonymous identifier ("Deleted User").

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ARCReaderHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that platform operations will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARCReaderHub and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or manuscript leaks resulting from user breaches. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to ARCReaderHub in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ARCReaderHub and its operator from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) any content you upload or distribute; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your infringement of third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including their formation, validity, breach, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will post the updated Terms on the Platform with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of ARCReaderHub following any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.
